1912 Monroe, WA Bathroom Rebuild After Hidden Water Damage

Before the Remodel — The bathroom before demolition began. What appeared to be a normal bathroom was hiding significant water damage beneath the surface.

Demolition Begins — Removing the previous installation to investigate the source and extent of the water intrusion.

Water-Damaged Framing Exposed — Demolition revealed damaged wall framing and areas that needed repair before the bathroom could safely be rebuilt.

Severe Subfloor Damage — Water had penetrated beneath the shower and damaged sections of the subfloor and supporting structure.

New Waterproof Shower System — After structural repairs, the shower area was rebuilt with a properly installed waterproofing system designed to protect the home from future moisture damage.
